Our Busy Hive Creations was born from love.  It began when I was a small child, when I learned to crochet, knit, sew, quilt, and embroider from my grandmothers.  Embroidery has become my canvas to express the world I see.  I am lucky enough to have grown up and lived in the beautiful state of Maine.  Many of my designs are from the beautiful coastline and the rough inland, and the wonderful creatures that live here. 

I have invested in a professional 15-needle embroidery machine, which specializes in professional embroidery. I have also invested in high-quality digitizing software that allows me to create and translate the electronic pictures into files that allow the designs to be embroidered by my embroidery machines.  I also have three single-needle machines.   This digitizing software allows me to create embroidered artwork and special pieces that customers can request. I also can take someone else's images, artwork, and images and embroider them onto almost anything. 

Please explore what I have created and what I have for sale on this site, and if you don't see something that you would like to have for yourself or a gift for another, please ask.  I enjoy working with people and sharing in their creative processes, bringing to life what they are looking for.
